Easy Chocolate Tiramisu

A rich, creamy chocolate dessert layered with coffee-soaked biscuits, chocolate cream and fresh strawberries.
Make this the day before entertaining — the flavours develop overnight and there's one less job to do on the day.

Ingredients
- 2 packets chocolate mousse, prepared according to packet directions
- 1 packet sponge finger biscuits
- 1 cup cold coffee
- 600ml cream, whipped with vanilla essence and icing sugar
- 2 tbsp chocolate powder
- 2 tbsp coffee powder
- 2 tbsp finely grated chocolate
- Fresh strawberries, sliced
- Chocolate curls or grated chocolate, to decorate
Method
- 1Prepare the chocolate mousse according to packet directions.
- 2Whip cream with a little vanilla essence and icing sugar until thick.
- 3Mix chocolate powder and coffee powder through the whipped cream.
- 4Quickly dip sponge fingers into cold coffee and arrange a layer in the base of your serving dish.
- 5Add a layer of chocolate mousse followed by chocolate cream and sliced strawberries.
- 6Repeat the layers until the dish is full.
- 7Finish with whipped cream, fresh strawberries and grated or curled chocolate.
- 8Refrigerate for at least 4 hours, preferably overnight, before serving.
