Pantrix is about helping people understand how to make more of the food they buy.
Through practical recipes, butcher knowledge, meal ideas and food education, we want to help people build confidence in the kitchen, understand their ingredients and see how one ingredient can work across multiple meals.
The goal is simple: share practical food knowledge that helps households waste less, spend more wisely, save time and still enjoy good-quality food.
Good cooking isn’t about using more ingredients. It’s about knowing what to do with the ones you have.

What we’re working on
The Pantrix App — currently in development
Pantrix is being developed to make everyday cooking simpler, more efficient and more practical. It starts with the ingredients you already have, finds meals that make the best use of them and helps you buy only what you’re missing.
Save money
Make better use of what you already have and buy only what you actually need.
Save time
Spend less time deciding what to cook, planning meals and creating shopping lists.
Reduce food waste
Use ingredients across multiple meals before they are forgotten or thrown away.
Better portion control
Plan meals around your household size and the number of serves you actually need, helping reduce over-cooking and unnecessary leftovers.
Support healthier choices
Better planning, portion awareness and knowing what is going into your meals can help households make more considered food choices.
Eat well
Saving money and reducing waste should not mean lowering the quality of the food you eat. Pantrix is designed to help you make good food from what you have.

Michelle Hanlon
Pantrix was founded by Michelle Hanlon, an Australian qualified chef and butcher with more than 25 years of professional experience across hospitality, food production, food safety and running food businesses.
That experience is at the heart of Pantrix.
Years spent working with ingredients, managing food costs, planning production, reducing waste and creating meals have shown Michelle that saving money in the kitchen does not have to mean lowering the quality of the food you eat.
Pantrix is about taking that practical knowledge and making it useful in everyday kitchens — combining real food experience with new technology to help people make better use of what they already have.
Pantrix may be a digital business, but the knowledge behind it comes from years spent working with real food.
