Recipes on the Fly — Learn, But You Do You

Why Pantrix recipes are a guide, not a rulebook — create with what you have, trust yourself and find your inner chef.

Pantrix — use what you have

After nearly 40 years of cooking, I don’t really think too much about what I’m doing in the kitchen anymore.

Unless I’m learning a new technique or trying something completely different, I tend to open the fridge and pantry, see what I have and start cooking.

A bit of this. A bit of that. Taste it. Adjust it. Keep going until it works.

That’s how Pantrix Recipes on the Fly are created.

The recipes I share are what I made that day, with what I had available. Chances are I’ll never make exactly the same recipe twice.

And I don’t expect you to either.

Use my recipes as a guide. Swap ingredients for what you have. Leave something out. Add something you love. Change the quantities. Taste as you go.

Cooking doesn’t always have to be about following a recipe perfectly. Sometimes it’s about understanding the basics, trusting yourself and seeing what you can create with what’s already in front of you.

Calling all creators. Find your inner chef.

Create with what you have. Because ideas create ideas.

Learn, but you do you.
